DIYLoad

DIYLoad was a project that was ran under Distro-y for about a year or so around 2011. With the name DIYLoad being used as it was downloads for the DIY Community. It was just around the time when people started using download codes and streaming wasn’t really available so best way to listen to your vinyl digitally was download codes.

The aim was to produce a DIY option for download codes. It ended due to the option being available through Bandcamp and streaming becoming more mainstream. Download codes usually resulted in a download uptake of 10-15%
