Every month I plan on trying to update the featured image for monthly upcoming gigs which is a map of Ireland with what I hope to be symbolic images with enthusiasm I have a couple of months already completed. With the plan of some silly April fools joke, inline with the cover of Maximum Rock’n’Roll with the April fool ‘joke’ being ‘No Gigs as we have ‘Banned From The Pubs'” turns out we haven’t even actually got through March and we have been ‘Banned from the pubs’ so here is the updated list of the “banned” /Cancelled/Postponed gigs.
I, myself see this ‘lockdown’ going on for a very long time till probably September at the earliest, but what do I know, I am a pessimist. So come April expect a feature on what upcoming gigs have been cancelled. I am intend to use the time of lack work to archive punk and create a small punk database more info here: IMD-Beat Beater Database and hopefully I will create more ideas and I, encourage everyone else to use this time to build a project whether at home/local or punk please use the the time to create and inspire in the DIY community we will never get this chance again.
